Denis Retoske, Esq./CPA, CVA
Denis is an active attorney, CPA and Certified Valuation Analyst.
He attended undergrad at University of Notre Dame, where he majored in business and got his CPA license soon after. After starting his career with Ernst & Young, he began his own accounting practice, which he ran while attending Western State University to get his JD. As a CPA, Denis has been involved in tax preparation, planning, and compliance. He has handled several IRS and FTB audits, appeals, and litigation. As an attorney, Denis had done Estate Planning and administration, Probate, Entity formation and planning, and business acquisitions and mergers. Denis is also a qualified expert witness for Business Valuations and Family Law cases. He has testified numerous times in court and works closely with the client and their attorney. Denis is currently a member of AICPA and a member of the AICPA’s Forensic Valuation Services section and a member of the National Association of Certfified Valuators and Analysts.
Sheila Heimbach, CPA (Inactive)
Sheila attended undergrad at University of Washington, where she majored in business with an accounting emphasis. After receiving her CPA license, she worked for Deloitte and Touche in the Seattle office for several years before moving to Southern California. Sheila is a Senior Associate at The Retoske Firm. She is involved in the forensic accounting department, where she has prepared numerous Cash Flow reports, Marital Balance Sheets, Smith Ostler/Arrearages, Marital Standard of Living reports, and Tracing of Community/Separate property.

Katherine Monge, Esq.
Kathy attended UC Irvine and majored in Criminology, Law, and Society. Kathy worked in tax preparation and accounting for many years before becoming a commercial property manager for a Spanish Investment company, where in addition to the property management, helped with due diligence for asset acquisitions, and corporate compliance. Kathy worked at The Retoske Firm as the office manager while attending Trinity Law School in Santa Ana. She is now an associate attorney with the firm.
